Padre Coffee is a progressive local roaster based in Brunswick East.
Their coffees change with the seasons, availability and what they are loving right now, generally they offer up to 15 single origins in their stores and have up to 30 origins in their green store. It sounds excessive but it's a necessary step in finding the best coffees, not only does this allow them to experiment with different beans, if gives customers a broad range of coffees to try.
Each of their roasts is profiled and carefully monitored, then catalogued, giving us a library of roast information which allows us to roast to the specifics of each bean and it's origin. Each batch is hand sorted to ensure that prior to roasting the green coffee is clean and free of defects.
This adherance to detail and the hard work put into every roast ensures that Padre arrives to the customers freshly roasted and ready for the final step in it's long journey.
