Hi, I'm Julie Jansen, a Melbourne based Home Economist, recipe writer and food stylist. After many years of working 'behind the scenes' writing recipes for television, magazines and industry, I felt it time to finally pen my own cookbook.

 

This website showcases my newly released cookbook Apricots and Apron Strings, which brings together my favourite recipes from the thirty years I've been wearing an apron. 

 

I think my food demonstrates my passion for home baking and love of fresh simple flavours. I believe my recipes are inspiring, lively and so thoroughly tested, they will help you create beautiful food with confidence.
